I'm Still Standing[

1 Chronicles 28:20 “David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the LORD is finished.” I DECLARE God is never surprised. Nothing in our life happens by accident. These things in our life that surprise us are meant to either strengthen us or to teach us a lesson. It is said, God never gives us more than we can handle. I know this to be true because I am 57 years old and I haven't crumpled yet. I have survived divorce, losing my kids, near poverty, emotional abuse and cancer and I'm still standing. I have lived in a van and washed up the in a McDonalds restroom before going to work. I know if I lose everything tomorrow that I will survive. I know God won't let Sstan take my life and everything else is just gravy. In the past few years, so many of my plans and schemes have come to nothing. You'd think in 57 years that I'd learn that MY plans and schemes aren't even worth the imaginary paper they are written on. Many of us don't chose a path to follow in our lives. Most of us just close our eyes and end up onto whatever path we happen. Instead of making a decision to better ourselves, We let the decisions be made for us. Indecision is a decision. We need to open our eyes, search ahead to see which path will lead us where we need to be. We cannot just let our lives happen. God doesn't make junk and if we continue to forge ahead without a plan we are destined to fail
