Writing for the masses...

She sat quietly staring at the empty page before her. She had a deadline of midnight for the next installment of her blog and she had absolutely no idea of what to write. The holidays were over and the New Year had begun. Despite the fact that she was facing this deadline, nothing came to her to write about. She considered writing about politics or religion but decided against it. No one wanted to start a new year reading about that kind of thing. She wanted to write a "feel good" story but since she didn't "feel good" she opted to ignore that. She toyed with the idea of doing a DIY article but since she was not a do it yourself type of person, she thought it would be easily discounted by the readers as hogwash. Closing the laptop, she decided to make herself lunch, instead. After all--tomorrow was another day.
